Birds of a (Hateful) Feather

by @ 2:36 pm. Filed under Politics

These two have more in common than first meets the eye.

Turds of a Feather
The “Reverends” Fred Phelps and Jeremiah Wright.

They both preach hate; they both hate America. Phelps thinks the U.S. is damned because it allows homosexuals in the military. Wright demands God to damn America because he hates white people.

Normal people dismiss and condemn Phelps for his crazy, hate-filled views. We can all agree that he’s an insane, evil crackpot. We go to great lengths to keep him away from military funerals and confront him where ever possible.

It seems that lots of normal people are willing to accept what Wright preaches even though he is CLEARLY evil and a hate monger. Is it because Wright is black and it’s PC to allow certain liberals to behave in an unpatriotic manner? Is it because he is sooooo close to Obama and his supporters just won’t let anything come between them and their “savior?” I know that lots of people just want Wright and his evil church to go away and pretend that Obama has nothing to do with them, but I think it needs to stay on the front burner.

Wright’s impassioned sermons cannot be ignored or swept under the rug. This is “hate speech” and should not be misrepresented as just “part of a culture”. Mr. Obama and his wife have most certainly been molded and groomed to believe in this racist, anti-American crap. Why else has Michelle Obama never before been proud of this country? Why else does Barack no longer wear an American flag lapel pin or hold his hand over his heart during the pledge of allegience?

Barack Hussein Obama — bad for America.

The Commies Are Coming…

by @ 1:14 pm. Filed under Milblogging, Politics

Rush Limbaugh finally said what is really going on in the halls of power (Washington, DC that is): the Stalinists are emerging from their long, long wait and beginning to implement the dictator’s policies.

We are experiencing intimidation from the Leftinistas as never before seen, i.e. Media Matters smear of Rush for using two words, “phony soldier”, using “the children!” to push socialized medicine (SCHIP) on the taxpayers and calling a 4-star General a liar.

What the Hell?

by @ 3:19 pm. Filed under Milblogging, Politics

Lee Bollinger, Columbia University President, just sucker-punched the hell out of Achmeduchybag. Turn on any AM radio talk show and you’ll hear about it.

Bollinger levied repeated criticisms against Achmeduchybag, calling on him to answer a series of challenges about his leadership, blasting his views about the “myth” of the Holocaust “absurd” and saying that he doubted he “will have the intellectual courage to answer these questions.”

“Mr. President, you exhibit all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator,” Bollinger said, to loud applause. He said Achmeduchybag’s denial of the Holocaust might fool the illiterate and ignorant.

“When you come to a place like this it makes you simply ridiculous,” Bollinger said. “The truth is that the Holocaust is the most documented event in human history.”

Dear Dr. Bollinger,
From the bottom of my heart: OOOOO FREAKIN’ RAH!

Day 2 of Hosebags on the Hill

by @ 1:57 pm. Filed under Milblogging, Politics, Troop Support

Jim Webb (D-VA) is an ass!

1/6 Marines is where his son is serving, and I can’t believe “son” is terribly proud of his EX-Marine daddy. Webb is complaining that we’re expecting too much from our troops. He quoted Eisenhower from the Korean war saying that the troops did all we asked and more, but Webb thinks the poow widdle men and women are being abused unnecessarily cause “Bush sucks!”. looser!

Chairman Biden (D-DE) and Obama (D-IL) keep spewing their own vision (”There’s no strategy by this administrations! Waaahhhhh!”) and have not been listening at all to General Petraeus or Ambassador Crocker. These guys are insane!
——————————————–
Started listening late today (that work stuff really gets in the way ;) )
The Armed Services Committee Hearing is going to start at 2:15pm EST.
——————————————–
Oh, fer cryin’ out loud! CSPAN is taking calls from all the loonies it can grab. They all think its a huge Halliburton conspiracy with Bush and Cheney stealing oil. *barf!*
——————————————

AAAAAHHHHGGGGG! Senator Byrdbrain (D-WV) is asking “What, if any, connection is there between Sept 11th and Iraq?”

This old windbag can’t zip his own pants anymore let alone think in any way other than party-line drivel…
——————————————

Aaaahh, a breath of clean, sober air! Sen Inhofe (R-OK) is reliving his time spent in Iraq and putting the successes he’s seen in their proper importance. He’s apologizing to the Gen. and Amb. for CodePink’s behavior and for the abominable remarks by Cong. Lantos yesterday. Asking who is responsible for the report given today.

Gen. Petraeus gives due to his crack team of assistants!!!! All was done by himself and his staff (who know how much the CLs love them!!!).

HAHA! Inhofe suggested that Byrdbrain and Kennedy go to Iraq and check things out for themselves before spewing their “no success, we must surrender” spiel. Good on ya!

—————————————-
Now Sen. Lieberman (I-CT) is making a big deal out of Gen. Petraeus’ predicted troop withdrawls and wondering why all of the Congresscritters aren’t thanking the General for this really good news.

He asked Crocker if the Iranians are in any way responding to our diplomatic efforts to keep them from arming and supporting terrorists in Iraq? Crocker said “Nada, nothing, zip! They’re still supporting/exporting terrorism.”

—————————————-
Sen Jeff Sessions (R-AL) wants his colleagues to stop being a*holes.

In response to questioning about counter-insurgency and “the book” that the Gen wrote, Petraeus explained what a big job the surge is and how complicated all the pieces are. Sessions is doing a great job asking questions that prompt really good, non-biased answers.

Dear Senator Schumer…

by @ 12:48 pm. Filed under Milblogging, Politics, Troop Support, Vengeance!

You suck worse than anything that has sucked before!

Screw you and the ugly horse you rode in on!

Schmucky Schumer

How dare you defame and disrespect our military with such blatant lies and naked hate?

I’m watching Gen. Petraeus and the witch hunt on C-Span3 right now and the demonuts on the committee are acting in the most egregious manner possible.

What a bunch of F***ing Traitors!!!!!! I wish the General could whip out his security team and instruct them to take out the whole lot!

Rep. Lantos (D-CA) “General this isn’t meant to besmirch you, but … you suck! You just do what the President says and we all know how stoopid he is. Maliki sucks, the war sucks, all is lost!”

Old fart, YOU need to retire and go spend your time at the beach! The American people believe in Petraeus and in our Military and in the MISSION! So, STFU!!! doofus
—————————–
HOORAY! Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) comes to the rescue!!!!! Says the DimBulbs have been attacking the General’s credibility and the treasonous ad by MoveOn.Al calling Petraeus a traitor. Says the dems are idiots and outrageous.

Unbelievable! Hunter is even sticking up for L. Paul Bremmer and letting the Iraqi Army disolve itself back in ‘03. ‘Bout time somebody told why that was so important. Says the Army would have been a disaster if we left 11,000 Suni generals in place.
———————————–
1:30pm EST- brief interlude while the mics are fixed. probably due to MoveOn.Al virus.
————————————-

Now General Petraeus is speaking. “Tribal rejection of al-Quida in Anbar is spreading to other areas. We can begin troup drawdowns if this trend continues.”

“The surge is working and we have more than just ‘gut feelings’ to prove it” They are using statistical methodology that has been approved by 2 U.S. intelligence agencies and the data is gathered from not just U.S. Military, but Iraqi sources as well. Living and working within the Iraqi communities has made a huge difference. Ethnocentric violence has declined precipitously. Locals are increasingly participating with the coalition in turning in al-Quida and taking the initiative to locate and report weapons caches.

Locals are increasingly volunteering for the police and Army. Salah al Din and Ninewah provinces have been tough, but are showing declines in violence recently.

————————————————
1:44pm EST - Another MoveOn.Al/CodePink demonstration in the chamber…
————————————————
Gen. Petraeus “The most significant thing to happen is the participation by local citizens and tribal leaders in Al Anbar to partner with the coalition and rejection of the extremists. “ Take that Schmucky Schumer!

Gen P “Don’t rush to failure!” - he looked at the commitee when he said cyberspace is increasingly being used by the bad guys as a way to wage war on us. Take THAT MoveOn.Al!

Political stability can only come with security stability. Iraq wants to be our friend. Gen. P is recommending the redeployment of MEFII at the end of the month! As well as more drawdowns in the next few months.

Smart man! He’s thanking Congress for funding a bunch of stuff for the military!
————————————————–
2:00pm EST - Another CodePink interruption. Beotches!

I see Gael Murphy in the audience. These witches will continue to cause disruption, but Rep./Chairman Skelton (D-MO) just blusters and won’t eject all the whores.
————————————————–
Now Ryan Crocker, U.S. Ambassador to Iraq speaking. (too bad he’s got a lisp and a rather high voice…)
I’m sorry, this guy is so boring I can’t pay attention.

————————————————–
Now the fun part starts. Chairman Skelton starts off by reminding us that while our sons and daughters are sweating and sacrificing, the Iraqi parliament is sitting on its collective thumbs and not doing enough on reconciliation. “Why should we (the elite in the US Congress) believe the next 6 months will be any different?”

BBWWWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What the HELL have you accomplished in the last 6 months, Congressman? *asshole*

Old fart Lantos is up again. Asks Petraeus why his “token withdrawl” should be accepted when there are military critics out there that want all the troops to come home now?

Petraeus responding that his proposal is a substantial withdrawl, not a token. Don’t “rush to failure”, you old fart! What the hell are you talking about, anyway?

Lantos, “respectable media favors more substantial withdrawl” (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)

Petraeus “I have given you my best advice and information, I don’t know where you are getting your information, Congressman” Basically telling him (Lantos) he’s an idiot!

Lantos then asks Amb. Crocker why that Cowboy Bush won’t surrender to the Iranians? Then brings up the widely misreported statement by Maliki that he can “find other friends” if the US leaves.

Crocker says that Maliki said today that Iraq needs the coalition to stay.

Now Rep Spratt (D-SC) is complaining about $$. Says that “everything hinges on National Reconciliation”. (since when? This is just the latest Democrat benchmark!)
—————————————

Rep. Saxton (R-NJ) is interrupted by CodePink whores after he held up a copy of the NYSlimes with the MoveOn.Al anti-Petraeus ad.
—————————————
I had to go back to work. Sometimes it sucks being a conservative who believes in making her own living and not being a blood-sucking leftard mooching off the government and sitting all day in a hearing chamber making a fool of oneself. Eh, Gael?

Kyl (R-AZ),

Boxer (D-CA),
Craig (R-ID),

Bingaman (D-NM),

What were they promised? What could possibly have convinced them to sell out?

I think I’ll write to each and ask…

Dear Senator,

You voted for cloture on S.1639 today, but you voted “Nay” just a few weeks ago. Please tell me what made you change your mind about this bill.

I would like to know what incentives were promised to you and how you feel they will be benificial. As a tax paying legal citizen of this country, I feel I have a right to this information.

Thank you, Gen. Peter Pace, USMC

by @ 12:52 pm. Filed under Milblogging, Politics

Once again, Congress shows it’s lack of nads by getting rid of a “real man” who has been the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for the last (nearly) two years. SecDef Gates wanted to nominate Gen. Pace for another term, but the panty-waists on the Armed Services committee said “Oh, but he’s much too masculine and smart for the job. We want someone who will cry and and constantly apologize!” Hhmmpph!!

gen_pace.jpg

This is my pick for who should replace Pace.

honore-inside.jpg
Lt. Gen. Honore

I’m not holding my breath, though. Congress is definitely stuck on stupid!

Commenter Steve has brought up a very good point about our top military leaders not having sufficient (or even any) combat experience. However, he is incorrect about Gen. Pace.

I found this article, “Fighting door to door” which describes Pace’s first encounter with bad guys trying to kill him.

Several times a day, the US military’s second highest ranking officer, Gen. Peter Pace, glances at a 35-year-old photo of a Marine Corps private. Staring back is Guido Farinaro, the first soldier General Pace lost to combat in Vietnam.

“It’s a way to remind me,” says Pace, whose career in the Marines began with the US military’s last big urban fight. In 1968, about 2,500 marines fought for weeks in the Vietnamese city of Hue to dislodge an enemy force four times their strength.

“I know how difficult it can be,” Pace said last week in a phone interview from his office in the Pentagon as the US 1st Marine Division raced toward Baghdad. “If I’m able to help craft plans to impact the battlefield from a distance that would make it less likely to have to fight inside a city, then I’d like to do that.”

Among the US military’s top generals planning the war in Iraq, only Pace has fought through a city.

Click the link above to read more.

As for Petreaus, he’s “written the book” on counter-insurgency from up-close-and-personal experience. I’m too tired to do the research tonight. Maybe Leta will chime in… :)

Fun with Political Contributions

by @ 9:47 pm. Filed under Politics, teh Funny

FReeper BufordP has come up with a witty and flexible form you can use to “send a message” to the RNC.

Given the Senate is threatening to give away the farm this week, I decided I had to do something. Sure I could call my Senators (Jim Webb and John Warner [choke, gag]) on the phone and harp. I could stand outside the Whitehouse, RNC HQ, or the Capitol - alone or with just a few from the DC Chapter and picket. Or, I could create something that a large number of people might be interested in putting to good use. Even those who might otherwise not bother with corresponding with their legislators.

So I scanned one of the many RNC solicitations I’ve recieved in the mail so I could dress it up and make it say what I’m really thinking. Not one of their bogus canned responses.

But that’s not all. Make it so you can edit it.

What you see below is a sample letter I created.

Try creating your own. You’ll be able to edit the TO:, FROM:, SALUTATION, MESSAGE, and the QUOTE coming out of President Bush’s mouth. You’ll see “El Presidente Jorge Bush” highlighted. Type in something else. Press the key to move to next field or just press your mouse button over the various fields.

Once you’re satisfied print it off along with the self addressed envelope.

Que?

So, go ahead and have fun! Thanks BufordP!

If you really want to send something that looks like money with your response, you might print out a few of these “Bush Pesos”. I found what may be the original on Hot Air, thanks to another FReeper, Tolerance Sucks Rocks.

Nada Peso, si!

S.1348 — The 2007 “Death to America!” Act

by @ 1:08 pm. Filed under Politics

This piece of legislative treason is the best evidence yet that our Congressional “Leaders” view US as slaves and serfs. This back-room bill declares U.S. citizenship to be irrelevant and virtually detrimental to those holding it. Legal, taxpaying, law abiding U.S. Citizens are the oppressors of those “unfortunate people who just want to work and keep their families together”, and must be made to pay for the transgression of being prosperous.

treason1.jpg

Putrid bags of excrement who believe that YOU have no right to object to the rape and pillage of your hard earned wealth or your Constitutional rights.

It doesn’t matter what the final bill looks like (or how heavy the stack of paper becomes). When the President signs the stinking mass it will dilute your voice in government and your ability to be self-determining by at least 30%. Don’t believe the talking heads who envision 12-20 million new “legals” — it will be more like 100 million in just a few short years.

The term “legal” will replace the once coveted status of “citizen”. As a “legal” you will be granted all the rights, privileges and entitlements of “citizens”, but without those annoying responsibilities. You don’t need no steenking papers, you just need a real or forged “Z”-visa and voila!

The supposed penalties to be levied from Z-Visa applicants will never be imposed. Employers will not be fined or face criminal charges for hiring undocumented people any more than they are now. Everyone here, no matter how they got here, will be considered “legal” by virtue of standing on U.S. soil. There’s no way Congress or the President will cut us any slack in thier relentless punishment of the truly criminal class of “citizens”.

What to do? You can bend over and take it like a European -or- write, call, email, fax your CongressCritters and demand that this “Amnesty” bill be shelved and that the laws already on the books be enforced.

Fellow “citizens”, remember one thing: You have NOT commited any crime! Did you force people from other countries to come here illegally? Did you even invite them to come here? Is it your fault that it sucks to live everywhere else in the world? Well, maybe that is our fault — we’ve worked damned hard to create and maintain the prosperity made possible by our Founding Fathers, but we owe the illegals NOTHING! They should try and fix their own crappy governments rather than destroy ours.

Don’t let the autocrats in Washington throw open our borders and allow the world to treat our “citizens” as criminals who must continuously pay for the crime of being a U.S. Citizen.

Why aren’t the Revs. Sharpton and Jackson invading Britain?

by @ 1:40 pm. Filed under Politics, True Heroes, teh Funny

Newsbusters report “BBC Cancels TV Movie On Iraq War Hero As ‘Too Positive’ “, by Lynn Davidson.

pvt beharry

…the project that would have honored the incredible bravery and resilience of Private Johnson Beharry, a man who didn’t hesitate to risk his own life two separate times for his fellow soldiers. His Victoria Cross citation reads like a blockbuster Hollywood action script, but instead, it’s the real deal. Sounds uplifting and encouraging, and it could even be a real morale booster, right? Well, for the Beeb, that’s the problem.

The BBC also ran a story about PM Tony Blair specifically targeting black communities for perpetuating knife and gun violence.

“The black community - the vast majority of whom in these communities are decent, law-abiding people horrified at what is happening - need to be mobilised in denunciation of this gang culture that is killing innocent young black kids,” said MR Blair.

These two stories should have been juicy enough to have both “Reverends” booking redeye flights to London so that they could denounce both the BBC and the Prime Minister as racially bigoted and hate mongering. I can just hear the two of them calling for boycotts, firings, heads to roll, etc., all the while pimping for ‘pounds’ (British $ for you dumb cracker rednecks)
(I hope no one was offended by that last parenthetical remark)
(Paranthetical means between parentheses, i.e. (), you right-wing knuckledragging ‘tards)
(by ‘knuckledragging’ I mean that you would be recognizeable as an australopithecine more easily than a homo sapien)

Sen. Webb (D-VA) Is a Big Whiner

by @ 2:35 pm. Filed under Gun Control, Politics

Check out this video posted on WaPo.com (I know, not THAT rag!) showing Webb whining about not having his own Secret Service detail like the President. If you don’t want to waste time watching the whole thing (he starts snivelling about 2 minutes in) here’s the transcript:

If you look at people in the Executive branch, uh, if you look at the number of people defending the President, uh.. and other members of the Executive branch, there is not that, uh, kind of protection available to people in the Legislative branch. We are, uh, required to defend ourselves and, uh I choose to do so…

Sooooo, are we to assume that poor widdle Webb, the big-brave-EX-Marine needs a tax payer paid posse to protect him? And that we should pay to provide Secret Service details to all 535 members of Congress? Or, is he really saying that the Secret Service should NOT be protecting Bush?

Just who is it that would want to off this Lion of Liberalism? Islamofacists? Certainly not! Right-wing nutjobs? We don’t play that game, homey!

Who would be the bigger target for an assasin, anyway? Bush v. Webb: there is no apparent upside to whacking the Senator. He’s not that important.

Maybe that’s the real reason he’s whining.

I liked Fred Thompson long before I knew all the facts. I also knew that Sen. Thompson was serious about making a Presidential bid in ‘08 when I heard him doing Paul Harvey’s show. Mr. Harvey was only supposed to be gone for a day or two at most, but Sen. Thompson has been on for nearly a month now. Hmmmm, it must have been “the stare” that convinced Harvey’s peeps to let Fred have as long as he wanted….

Meaner than Chuck Norris!

Anyway, FrankJ has brought to light the most wonderful of tidbits about Mr. Thompson that should make him a shoe-in for the Republican nomination. For instance, did you know:

Moonbat Monkey Stomp on the Mall

by @ 11:01 pm. Filed under Milblogging, Politics, Troop Support

There may well have been more of us than them. The “10s of thousands” of America hating commies turned out to be around 2000 by most guestimates. There were easily that many leather-jacketed veterans. What a sight to behold!

Naturally, I got very few good pics… I didn’t have a memory card in my camera until late in the day. DOH! what an idiot!!!!! Anyway, my story will pick up where the moonbats leave their hippie ghetto and start marching towards Memorial Bridge.

The “Good Guys” weren’t allowed to stand on the bridge which had been closed to traffic. Seems we didn’t have a permit for the bridge so we lined the road approaching it and both sides of the entrance. There were many, many more people who had crossed the bridge earlier to stand and taunt the commies on the Arlington Cemetary side.

View of bridge
Standing in the middle of the Memorial Bridge looking towards the Lincoln Memorial

I wish I could have gotten an aerial view ’cause there wasn’t anyplace to take a pic that showed all of the veterans and troop supporters. This is just a fraction of the people that lined the roadway waiting for the scumbags to prance by.

Good guys

The hippies started across with just a dribble. They seemed genuinely intimidated by the throngs of angry veterans who shouted “Traitor!” and other less savory messages.

Commies Commeth

This young head full of mush got one veteran pretty riled up.

Kissy Kommie

The veteran responding with “Give me a kiss right here!”.

Who is that guy?

Here are some assorted asshats and traitors and smelly unwashed hippies.

Update: Carrie emailed a link to this article from MilitaryTimes.com which sheds some light on the terribly deranged father of the deceased Marine. WARNING - you may need some Pepto after reading it.

Carbon Credits! Git Yer Fresh Hot Carbon Credits!

by @ 1:29 pm. Filed under Politics

I’m going to start selling these things, since algore is doing it, too!

From Ecotality’s “Why the Gore Story Matters“:

So far, so good. So, where does Gore buy his ‘carbon offsets’? According to The Tennessean newspaper’s report, Gore buys his carbon offsets through Generation Investment Management. a company he co-founded and serves as chairman:

Gore helped found Generation Investment Management, through which he and others pay for offsets. The firm invests the money in solar, wind and other projects that reduce energy consumption around the globe…

Hot damn!! What a schweet deal! I think I’ll name the new company “Algore Said It’s OK!”. Only I’m going to sell ‘offsets’ to other people and not just to myself.

Instead of planting trees, I’ll plant daffodils and dahlias — yeah, that’s the ticket! Ooooo, so many ideas to hatch…
