Be Grateful You’re an American!
Thanks to FReeperMedia’s tgslTakoma, we have on video Part 1 of the actions of those ‘peaceful’ anti-war protesters when they were confronted by Iraq war veterans at Saturday’s commie rally on the mall.
SEE: Peace loving Americans calling a wounded warrior a ‘killer’!
SEE: Compasionate liberals threaten to ‘get a gun’ to a veteran!
SEE: ‘Troop Support’ Moonbat Style!
Sorry to take so long, but here’s Part II
And finally Part III

I am completely appalled, revolted and grossed-out by these hooligans. What mass insanity!A peace rally. What a joke. That they can harrass soldiers, some in wheelchairs makes me want to toss my cookies. I thought I knew about this sort of thing but to see the video from this point of view (rather than the media’s glamourizing it)brings this disgrace home all the more. God bless our patriotic troops and veterans who were there to try to educate these people. Thanks for this post, GunnNutt, no matter how disturbing, how very disturbing.

William M. Arkin on National and Homeland Security……..”Sure it is the junior enlisted men who go to jail, but even at anti-war protests, the focus is firmly on the White House and the policy. We just don’t see very man “baby killer” epithets being thrown around these days, no one in uniform is being spit upon.”
This boy needs to be horsewhipped. (Bill Arkin)
His father is Satan. Satan is the Father of the Lie. I bet his is a senior stock holder in The Washington Post and the New York times.

I suppose this moron is one who says no troops were spit on durning the Vietnam thing.

There you are again warping the facts … Here’s what Bill Arkin says.
William M. Arkin on National and Homeland Security
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/earlywarning/2007/01/the_troops_also_need_to_suppor.html
“Through every Abu Ghraib and Haditha, through every rape and murder, the American public has indulged those in uniform, accepting that the incidents were the product of bad apples or even of some administration or command order.
Sure it is the junior enlisted men who go to jail, but even at anti-war protests, the focus is firmly on the White House and the policy. We just don’t see very man “baby killer” epithets being thrown around these days, no one in uniform is being spit upon.”
No one in uniform is being spit on… there you have it.
Bill should be horsewhipped. His father is satan, the father of all lies.
He probably own the Washington Post and the New York Times too.

Not to be a springbutt …. but here is good news.
Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) - A U.S. court decision allowing victims of Palestinian suicide bombings to sue a major Mideast bank is a “great step” forward in the war against terrorism, Israeli victims said Wednesday.
U.S. District Court Judge Nina Gershon ruled this week that terror victims can sue the Arab Bank for its role in transferring Saudi funds to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers.
According to their attorneys, several thousand plaintiffs who have joined the case include 30 U.S. citizens, as well as citizens of Israel, Russia, France and eight other countries.

Ok. I’m having trouble thinking of any comment that doesn’t involve swear words, so I’ll just go kick something.

Holy Cow! Guess it was a good thing I wasn’t there. I don’t think I could have restrained myself when they verbally attacked our military. Holy Cow! I’m kinda like SK - best not to comment at this moment.
Thanks for sharing GN. Waiting for Volumn II

This so called Peace Rally is such a major Embarrassment to our Country. Very Shocking and unbeleivable. And Miss Jane Fonda had the nerve to speak after what she did to our POW’s in Nam.
This video should be sent to the main News Stations.
Thanks for posting the video and the update on Josh.

Also Would Josh like some Get Well cards as he recovers?
And has anyone setup a fund for him ?

How those guys endure this without laying the smack down is beyond me, and a true testament to how much more character a member of the US military possesses than the average hippy/oxygen-thief.
Stupid hippies, always stealing good people’s oxygen.

What we need to do of course, is continue to rage when they do this.
The more I think about it, the more I am convinced, that in the age of AIDS, spitting can be a dangerous thing. A form of assault, justifying self defense.
I also think we should press the lawmakers to take care of that.

I agree with Jim B. Spitting in this day and age of HIV, is assault at the very least, if not attempted murder if they actually know they have it.

It’s “support the troops” at the finest hour…/sarc
I would ship all these lunatics out to China or Russia for few months…maybe then they would appreciate what they have…

Ship them out for few months? I would throw in with you Agnieszka on the condition we forget to bring them back.

I can’t believe these people-to think I was almost like tem in coleege. I’m glad I grew out of that. To curse at a wounded soldier is about as low as it can go. If I saw a wounded vet I would say THANKS:):):)
February 3rd, 2007 at 9:03 am
Sorry about that-should be like them in college. I’m not a great typist.
February 3rd, 2007 at 9:51 am
The arrogance and condescension of the pony-tailed guy telling the soldiers that they worship George Bush. Actually, these protestors (they’re not antiwar) are really pilgrims in a religious procession. Their religion is Godless, but it’s still a religion. This is the source of their passionate hatred, they can’t stand another belief system. Another belief system must be destroyed and the believers must be killed. These folks recognize their own similarity to the islamic head-choppers and that’s why they support the head-choppers. That’s what they want to do too.

I remember it well (70s), it’s happening all over again.
February 3rd, 2007 at 1:23 pm
Glad to see the compassion. This event is really similar to a protest I attended in ‘03. The whackjobs just descended on downtown DC adjacent to the mob. It was, overall, good fun. Since they’ve closed down some of the sideshows, you just don’t see this many freaks at once.
February 3rd, 2007 at 1:54 pm
overall their behavior was just what one would expect. angry socialist/communist thugs seething with hatred at not just the military, but America in general. they are, I think, a more insidious enemy than our enemies abroad.they go under the name of “progressive” now because if their true face were shown, most americans would want them out of any normal political process. fortunatly they are human, and they slip up once and a while, like arkin did. make no mistake, their goal is the complete destruction of this country from a democracy into their vision of a socialist utopia. you know, the kind where non-believers are re-educated to orientate them to the one true path. My hatred of them is almost as great as their hatred of the United States,

You need to get a directional microphone on that camera to cut down the background noise and focus on the moonbats so that you can hear them more clearly.

Bunch of rotten ingrate peacniks!

Kudos to you, former Gunn Nutt. I haven’t forgotten you. Thanks for all of your support and good will while I was deployed. Keep up the good work battling the retards of the left!

Cry me a river, whiny militarists. You egg us on and call us unpatriotic and and then expect us to be civil to you elitists?
I don’t think so.
February 3rd, 2007 at 6:20 pm
Well friend, this was certainly disturbing. I remember in the 60’s, even a young CA beach girl like me wondered at headlines that said “A peace rally turned violent today in…..”. I loved it when Joshua called them on it… Wonder how many in that mob would pass a drug test.

I WANT TO BE AT THE NEXT RALLY. Let me know when. These people make me angry. That is one of the main reasons I started my web site I sell angry conservative shirts.

I always see the same pattern. On the “peace protester” side of the fence the people are always the same pot smoking, long haired, no job, living with mom at the age of 40 types. They spew out the same dribble that someone told them to spew without giving it any rational thought. And the MSM actually gives them air time? But one thing I always notice is that they never want to give a close up of who these people actually are in the news. I also recognize the low numbers on the “pro troops” side. Could this be that the people who actually support the war have jobs that they need to get to every day to pay their taxes and support their families? Whos employeer would tolerate this.
Keep up the fight.

I am speechless!
February 13th, 2007 at 11:01 pm
I think they all need a history lesson. I wonder what kind of life they think we would have if it wasn’t for the wars that have been fought in the past. Do they not realise that their right to protest is the result of war? What do they think would have happened if nothing was done about 9/11? Are they so selfish that that don’t care if the people in Iraq have any freedom? Do they think that the people in Iraq don’t deserve to live a normal life? I have ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWI. Relatives that fought in WWII and the Korean War. My Father was in the Army. My brother is retired Navy. Half of my friends were in Vietnam. I’m married to a former Marine and to see all those morons treating our Military people this way makes me want to write things here that, well, I don’t think are allowed. I’m not in the habit of responding to things online but this one really got to me. If the war were here in this country they would all be cowering in a corner somewhere begging our military men and women to help them. In my front yard there is a 25 ft. pole flying the American and the Marine flags and they will be there until the day I die or until I am not physically capable of raising them. They were there even before 9/11.

Over at the Volokh Conspiracy, Jim Lindgren is doing a fantastic job of refuting Professor Jerry Lembcke’s campaign to “prove” no one ever spit on returning Vietnam vets. As someone who grew up during the Vietnam era, the extravagant lengths……
