U.K. Libs Ahead of U.S. Counterparts in Death Wishes

According to the BBC, those darned ill-tempered, depressing libtards want to kill themselves rather than face a future which seems to be getting more conservative.

Assisted suicide could be offered to Britons who are chronically depressed rather than terminally ill, says the head of a controversial Swiss group.

Ludwig Minelli says his organisation, Dignitas, is asking the Swiss Supreme court to allow a change in the law.

Existing laws have already allowed Dignitas to help 54 Britons to die and Mr Ludwig said another British man was due to follow next week.

Speaking at the Lib Dem conference, he urged the UK to drop its suicide laws. -(emphasis mine)

Let’s see, their population is shrinking due to abortion and now they want to be able to commit suicide because they’re perpetually unhappy. Sounds like a plan to me!

Well, someone needs to make room for all those lovelies that ran away from their “much better land”, but forgot to teach their rotten kids why they left in the first place, so now they are all busy turning Europe into the cesspool they left from. (all one sentence..gads!)

That was my â€˜flipâ€™ response, and then I thought â€¦. Jeez only a liberal would want a government to say itâ€™s okay to kill yourself.

I mean if you are gonna kill yourself, who cares what the laws are. Youâ€™re dead. The government isnâ€™t going with you. (The Brit Government went to hell years ago)

What is the benefit of creating a government program allowing you to kill yourself?
Will it protect you from prosecution after youâ€™re dead?

This is to me the ultimate liberal plan of government control from womb to tomb .. and now â€¦ beyond.

Jim B, I’m thinking the next step is to put Bugging devices in the box with ya…you know just in case you have secret squirrel convos from beyond! But truly, if someone needs permission from DC to go die, because they’re unhappy (usually with DC) well okey dokey then.

As long as we are on the subject of religion lately, I thought I’d tell everyone, I finally got a free mail, from Chaplain Steve again, with 2 jokes at the end.
Now I have a question. Doing a search on anysoldier, I happened to notice all the Chaplains are Soldiers. There are no Marine Chaplains. Now,why is that? Don’t we have enough money for Marine Chaplains, too? Or, don’t the Marines want Chaplains? I heard there are no atheists in a fox hole and they have been in many. It seems each branch has its own pilots, how come they don’t each have their own Chaplains?

Perhaps this will help Karen I. The Marines have no Chaplains because they are assigned Chaplains that are Navy Chaplains.

So any Chaplain that attends to or is assigned to Marine units is US Navy.

Likewise the Marines have no medical people. Corpsmen and Doctors, and Nurses that tend to the Marines are all Navy too.

The entire focus of the Marines is on the rifleman and those things absolutely required to support him.

In terms of support troops, the Marines are very lean.

Thanks for answering the Chaplain question, jim b. I was as interested as Karen I after reading her question. I guess you can’t really expect a Man of the Cloth to be a rifleman. Do you suppose the Navy Chaplains would bless the hippy impaling spikes? (I’m going strait to Hell for that one…)

What is the difference between depressed and chronically depressed? Who is going to make that jugment? How long do you have to be depressed - 2,3 or 4 years? Gosh, it’s depressing…lol

Thanks Jim B. and Agnieska. I guess Navy and Air Force Chaplains don’t need anything right now. I’m pretty good on Chaplains right now as I just sent postcards of the famous Apostles Coo-coo clock displayed at a museum in Oshkosh to 6 Chaplains.Chaplain Steve got the note card of same along with a couple of things from the nearby Bible Factory Outlet -they have everything!(was not lying about that)near the infamous truck stop.Well I better take my nap since I found no caffein here as promised by a certain individual.
