Semper Gratus!

In Go Jihad on the Media, Taco Bell (SandGram) has one righteous rant and a challenge for each of us that are equally fed up with the putrid way the MSM treats the terrorists vs. our military.

Now, the question is why isn’t our press raising hell about this lack of condemnation by the Arab world? Because they think we deserve it as well. If anyone out there thinks our captured troops deserved the treatment they received then I will throw this out to you, send me your name and address and I will figure out a way to pay for your all-expense-paid trip to Iraq. You can give us an update on your condition, and I promise that I will make sure my Cox Cable for my high speed internet is paid up so I can see your pleas for help on the internet just before they bend you over and make you squeal like a pig. Do I sound bitter??? Yes, you can say that.

When I was looking for information about the two soldiers whose bodies had just been found, I was sickened by what I found instead. Yahoo!s news page was filled with links to stories about OUR GIs committing atrocities against “innocent” Iraqis, how badly the war is going, “Bush sucks!”, etc. This is what Yahoo! thought was important on that day:

That “Body Count” one burns me the most – and is just one of the reasons I started the “Dead Terrorist” counter of my own. (Sorry for being so slow to implement a distribution method – I’m still trying to figure it out.) Negative, negative, negative! Nothing about the wonderful things our troops are doing and how much safer it is to live in Iraq than in the U.S.A. Just continuous bashing of the whole effort and glee in publishing anything that makes our military look bad. Sick freaks calling themselves “journalists”!
